There’s a big new Italian restaurant, wine bar, and beer garden opening in a renovated Brooklyn warehouse this week . . . It’ll be an Italian-leaning affair, with dishes like burrata, wood-fired pizzas, housemade pasta, grilled branzino, and a New York strip. In total, the restaurant can seat 340 people among its wine bar and dining room, a beer bar that’s connected to an outdoor garden, a lounge, and a rooftop.
Chef John DeLucie . . . is on the rise again with a new Brooklyn eatery housed in a massive 10,000 square-foot warehouse. The Italian-style eatery, which DeLucie is opening with fellow restaurateurs AJ Bontempo and Sergio and Mario Riva, will seat 340 people and feature a 30-foot airplane hanger door that opens to a beer garden. It will also boast a wine bar with 20 wines by the glass, four wines on tap, and 16 beers from local craft breweries, also on tap....
This elaborate addition to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, occupies 10,000 square feet in an old wire factory. It has several dining areas, a wood-burning pizza oven, a roof deck and a mezzanine. The chef is John DeLucie.
Italian Food is getting a new look in Williamsburg. Opening Sept. 12 is Italian wine bar and beer garden Ainslie, a 10,000 square-foot multilevel dining venture where you can eat, drink and be entertained . . . One of the main draws of the restaurant is the wood-fired pizza oven, as well as the 70-seat beer garden and a roof deck bar. The menu includes craft brews and wine, as well as crispy artichokes, wood-fired pizzas, housemade pasta, steak and more.
Williamsburg will soon be home to a new wine bar and beer garden. In fact it is opening tomorrow, September 12th. The owners are the team behind several Manhattan restaurants, including Osteria Cotta. Ainslie will have room for 340 people and have multiple levels, including a seated wine bar, an outdoor beer garden, and a rooftop deck and bar. The space features a wood-fired pizza oven, and will also serve classics like housemade spaghetti, crispy artichokes, and New York strip from the open kitchen.
The new restaurant, Ainslie, is a huge 10,000-square-foot space that can accommodate 340 guests. The Italian wine bar and beer garden features a 90-seat front wine bar, a 70-seat back beer bar connected to an outdoor beer garden, a 60-seat intimate living room is located in the mezzanine, and a 1,000-square-foot 50-person roof deck and bar. At the ground level front wine bar there is also an open kitchen that has a wood fired pizza oven with full views of the chef and kitchen staff.
This space could be its own Little Italy! An enormous new Italian restaurant in Williamsburg offers its visitors four distinct dining experiences. Ainslie Italian Wine Bar and Beer Garden, which opened in a former warehouse on Sept. 12, slices its space into a rustic wine bar, an expansive beer hall, a cocktail lounge, and a relaxing rooftop patio, which allows people to see the eatery in multiple lights, according one of its owners.
We’ll start with this: Ainslie is enormous. Sprawling and industrial, it’s almost like its own campus, packed with large open patios and tucked-away crannies, and (for those who enjoy people watching), a catwalk above the main bar to peruse the crowd. Oh, and there’s a rooftop.
But despite how large the 10,000-square-foot restaurant, there’s an intimacy to the space (props to the kind and knowledgable staff) and a warmth to its interior (thanks to the wood-burning oven), all of which contributes to a full stomach and fantastic night out.
